Pandemic Products
During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and subsequent quarantine, I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about/staring at/shopping for/agonizing over the things I need to buy. Whether shopping online and refreshing for hours to find a delivery slot or donning a mask and gloves to brave the store, the products we choose to buy feel like they have so much more weight in these times. In reaction to these feelings, I created a series that finds humor and relatability in the products and experiences of “our new normal.”
This project was added to in March 2021 to reflect some of the evolving, complicated sentiments that were felt one year later.
This project was added to (again, unfortunately) in March 2022.
